How To

Add a paint can to your inventory

  1. Tap “Add Can” in the header (or “My Paints” → Add Can).
  2. Take a clear photo of the label on the can. The first photo is used as the main scan image.
  3. Add extra shots of the color chip, formula sticker, or lid — every photo you upload is read by the AI scan.
  4. Wait a moment while All My Paint reads the brand, color number, formula, sheen, and store details.
  5. Review the extracted details, edit anything you want, then save the can to your inventory.

Search and filter your paints

  1. Open “My Paints” from the header to see your full inventory.
  2. Use the search bar to find cans by brand, color name, color number, or room.
  3. Tap any can to view its full details, photos, and store contact info.
  4. Select multiple cans with the checkboxes to delete them in bulk.
  5. Download a printable PDF of your inventory any time from the My Paints page.

Share paints with another All My Paint customer

  1. To share a single can, open it and tap “Share”, then enter the recipient’s email — they’ll get a copy in their own inventory.
  2. To share several cans at once, go to My Paints and select multiple cans with the checkboxes, then choose Share to send the whole selection to one recipient by email or as a single-use share link.
  3. If the recipient already has a paint you’re sharing, it will be skipped automatically.
  4. You can also create a single-use share link to send to anyone — the link contains only the exact paints you selected when you created it.

Set up Team Access (Contractor & Contractor Pro)

  1. On either Contractor plan, open your Account page and find the Team Access section.
  2. Generate an access code and share it with your crew or clients.
  3. They sign in with their own account, enter the code, and can view and add paints in your inventory — they can’t edit or delete your paints.
  4. Team members inherit your can allowance, so they see the same limit you do.
  5. Team members can still buy their own plan independently — their personal plan stays separate from the shared one.
